You only need your Shaw University credentials to use our resources from off-campus. No other passwords are required.

Chronicle of Higher Education Weekly news and job information source for college and university faculty members, administrators, and students.
eBooks on EBSCOhost via EBSCOhost  This growing subscription package contatins a large selection of multidisciplinary eBook titles representing a broad range of academic subject matter and is a strong complement for any academic collection.  The breadth of informtion available through this package ensures that users will have access to information relevant to their research needs.
ERIC US Government Database of Education Research Literature
Films On Demand Allows you to view over 5,000 streaming videos in subject areas including Humanities & Social Science, Science, Business, Economics and Health.
Gale Virtual Reference Library Encyclopedia of Religion, Africana, African-American Poets, Science & Technology etc. An NCLive resource.
Humanities International Complete (EBSCO) This databases provides fill text of hundreds of journals, books and other published sources around the world. Produced by Whiston Publishing (an imprint of EBSCO Publishing), this databases includes all data from Humanities International Index (more than 2, 300 journals and more that 2.9 million records) plus unique full test content, much of which is not found  in other databases.
JSTOR Online archive of multi-discipline journal articles.
Lexis-Nexis Provides access to thousands of full-text publications that provide extensive coverage in the areas of business, criminal justice, finance, government, law and legal issues, medicine, news, technology and other subjects.
NCLIVE Online access to all NCLIVE resources; eBooks, audio books, videos, online magazines, newspapers & journals.

Oxford Music Online  Includes a subscription to Oxford Companion to Music and Oxford Dictionary of Music.
ProQuest Central via ProQuest Company General reference database for over 175 subjects from magazines, journals and newspapers, including peer-reviewed and scholarly works. An NCLive resource.
ProQuest Sociology via ProQuest Company  Gives users access to the full-text of more than 310 journals in sociology and social work. This collection provides full-text coverage of many core titles included in Sociological Abstracts and Social Services Abstracts.
Springer  Provides researchers with access to millions of scientific documents from journals, books, series, protocols and reference works. Particularly strong for electronic journal access the Math and Science departments.
