    Office of Grants Management Support

The Office of Grants Management Support partners with faculty and staff to facilitate the highest quality research and research administration at Shaw University.  Reporting to the Vice President for Institutional Advancement, the office s  primarily responsible for pre-award activities, proposal submission, award negotiation and sound management practices. Once an award has been made, a comprehensive service in award administration and regulatory compliance will be provided. The office is located in the Dorothy Cowser Yancy Building and we are here to assist with any questions or concerns.

Made possible through support from the RIMI grant, the Office of Grants Management Support is happy to announce that we now have an EPIC new electronic database called PIVOT. PIVOT is available free to all Shaw University Faculty, Staff and Students.

Pivot is an electronic database that facilitates collaboration between researchers within and outside an institution. It will provide the most comprehensive source for connecting researchers to funding opportunities for faculty, students, and staff. The database includes all categories of sponsors including government agencies, private foundations, corporations, non-profit organizations, etc. The funding opportunities are for many purposes such as grants, fellowships, capital improvements, travel, visiting professors, training, and more.
