Adult Degree Program
Welcome to Shaw University, and thank you for
your interest in our Adult Degree Program.
Shaw University offers an evening undergraduate studies program tailored to the unique needs of adult learners. With adequate transfer credit, you can attend classes one or two nights each week and complete your bachelor’s degree in as little as two years!
For over 50 years, Shaw University has been a leader in offering innovative undergraduate degree programs for adult learners designed with one objective in mind: helping you succeed in college. At Shaw University, busy adults, working professionals, veterans,
and transfer students can advance their careers, gain skills necessary to change jobs, or vastly enrich their personal lives through part-time or full-time evening studies.
Our Adult Degree Program offers busy adults the flexibility to start classes anytime throughout the year. Shaw has Adult Degree Program campuses located across North Carolina. Each adult learner is assigned a dedicated Campus Coordinator to assist you with all of your questions regarding admissions, advising, financial aid, career services, internships, and academic support services. The
Shaw Adult Degree Program offers busy adults a combination of classroom, video teleconferencing (VTC), and online classes so that you have a choice in course options that work best for your schedule, preferences, and learning style.
**North Carolina Community College graduates (A.A. and A.S.) are admitted with Junior standing. Shaw
