The Honors Program
If you’re an ambitious student with a great GPA who is considering graduate school, you can apply to join Shaw’s Honors College. As an honors student, you get priority consideration for scholarships. You may also receive invitations to conferences and professional events, be recognized on Awards Day, and enjoy other advantages.

You can apply to the Honors program the summer before your first year, or in years one and two, as long as you have a 3.25-plus GPA and are participating in community service.

Graduate Degrees
Shaw offers Master’s programs in the Department of Education and Child Development, and the School of Divinity. Graduate degrees are in fields that reflect the university’s historic commitment to making a difference in our communities.

In the Master of Science (MS) in Early Childhood Education, you’ll gain the knowledge, pedagogical and technological skills, and professionalism you need to excel as an early-education teacher in a diverse world.

Our Master’s level divinity courses focus on theology and practical knowledge for Christian leadership, and train you for a church ministry or spiritual practice career.
