Veteran Affairs

Overview

Shaw University is dedicated to facilitating your transition from military to university life. We provide accurate and timely information to help you navigate your Federal VA benefits and access resources available on campus and within the community. Additionally, we work to educate the campus community to ensure student veterans and their dependents have a positive and supportive experience at Shaw University.

We also offer comprehensive benefits services to the dependents (spouse and children) of US Veterans. While they do not qualify for GI Bill benefits, these students, both undergraduate and graduate, receive the same level of support and services. Our dedicated team assists with academic advising, financial aid navigation, and access to campus resources, ensuring a seamless integration into university life. We aim to create an inclusive environment where all student veterans and their families can thrive academically and personally.
