Greetings,
Reverend Doctor Harry L. White reminded us in his Shaw Day message at Watts Chapel this past Sunday that life can be hard regardless of age, economics, race, gender, or politics. In spite of the challenges we face, there is still much to be thankful
for and counting our blessings daily serves to remind us. The Thanksgiving holiday is a special time to remember and embrace those who enrich our lives. It is also a time to share with those who are experiencing hardships.
Shaw University is thankful for many things: our talented and engaged students, faculty, and staff; as well as our committed board of trustees, alumni, parents, donors, and other stakeholders. We are thankful for you and everything that you do.
We know that much is expected from us, and we give thanks for the opportunity to serve. May you enjoy a bountiful Thanksgiving and a festive holiday season. Spread the gratitude, love and joy!
Happy Thanksgiving,
President Dillard
