  • About the Department

    A part of the School of Arts, Sciences & Humanities, the Department of Social Work, Sociology, and Justice Studies builds on student’s knowledge, skills and values. The Department offers Bachelor of Arts in political science, political science with a concentration in international relations, sociology, sociology with a concentration in criminal justice, and the bachelor of social work degrees.  The Council on Social Work Education accredits the Evelyn Lane Sanders Social Work Program. Students will gain the knowledge and professional dispositions, experiences, and skills, including technological skills, necessary for employment in their profession and for admission to graduate school.
