Office of Sponsored Programs

The Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) partners with faculty and staff to facilitate the highest quality research, special projects and sponsored programs administration at Shaw University. Reporting to the Office of the President, the primary responsibilities are pre-award, post-award, and compliance for all grants, contracts, and co-operative agreements. Support from OSP includes identification of funding opportunities, proposal development, training on grant writing, proposal submissions, award negotiation and sponsored program monitoring and management support. Once an award has been made, a comprehensive list of services and support for award administration and regulatory compliance will be provided.

The office is located on the 3rd floor in the Dorothy Cowser Yancy Building and we are here to work with you to get new awards and manage existing awards.
